Nancy Exumé is a graduate of Yale University and The University of Virginia School of Law. A former public school teacher, she taught as a member of the first Teach For America corps in Brooklyn, New York. While pursuing her legal studies at UVA, she served as a Graduate Advisor to 300 undergraduate students and worked with the law school's Dean of Admissions to recruit law students. Her range of professional experiences provides her with a unique perspective to work one-on-one with her clients as she helps them navigate the writing of college application essays and personal statements. As a writer and marketer, her goal is to help applicants identify their unique qualities and convey their thoughts and passions through writing. Nancy’s coaching has helped former students gain admission to elite colleges and universities such as Brown University, Columbia University, Duke University, Swarthmore College, and Princeton University.
